International visitors to 28th National Crafts Exhibition have lauded the showcased specimens of Iran handicrafts at the event.
A local media report quoted a visitor to the NCE from Germany on Wednesday as saying, "Prior to my trip down Iran, I knew little about Iran handicrafts and only heard the name of Iran carpet,” adding, however, that the 2017 expo “was really impressive and I learnt a lot.”
“I bought four Persian rugs and a headscarf as souvenirs,” another visitor from China said, adding, "They are amazing."
The National Crafts Exhibition drew to a close August 29, 2017.
A pavilion of the expo, titled ‘Iranian House, was decorated with a great deal of Persian handicrafts and artworks suitable for different rooms, including kitchen, guest room, sitting room, and bedrooms.
Two halls offer a wide range of handicrafts by Iranian artists from Kerman, Hormozgan, Bushehr, Gilan and Mazandaran provinces.
A section of the exhibition devoted to children displays educational items for youngsters. The section has digital productions, toys, and other forms of handicrafts for children.
